Description
These parallel bars landing mats are FIG approved and are ideal for training and competition use. They feature cut-outs for the equipment legs, a non-slip base and a Velcro locking system to ensure the mats stay together. These will fit a wide range of other parallel bars. This is for the full FIG approved landing area (complete area) around the bars, we also offer a landing area only set of mats (immediate area) and these are available here.
The parallel bars landing mats are supplied as 10 units, creating a landing area of 4.7m wide by 11.6m long covering a total area of 41m2. The individual sizes of the mats are; 1 base mat is 2m wide by 3m long by 20cm high (mat number 4), 1 base mat is 2m wide by 2m long by 20cm high (mat number 8), 2 base mats are 2m wide by 2.1m long by 20cm high (mat number 9), 2 base mats are 2m wide by 2.6m long by 20cm high (mat number 10), these have a cut out to accept the leg, 2 base mats are 2m wide by 2.6m long by 20cm high (mat number 11), 1 base mat is 70cm wide by 2.6m long by 13.5cm high (mat number 12), 1 base mat is 46cm wide by 2.09m long by 6.5cm high (mat number 13). It is possible to create a landing area of 4.7m wide by 6.6m long using the 8 middle mats. Each mat has Velcro over-locking flaps to ensure the mats are locked together as well as a non-slip base to ensure they do not slide when in use and remain in position. The internal foam consists of multi-layered polyurethane and polyethylene foam that creates a soft, safe landing area. The foam is covered with a hard-wearing PVC vinyl which features air distribution mesh windows and is strengthened along the sides and corners.
