The junior kip bar package comprises of a junior kip bar, junior kip bar stabilisers, junior practice mat or practice mat soft and a tumbling mat.
Junior kip bar:
Our junior kip bar is a gymnastics training bar for kids just beginning their athletic career. A perfect kip bar for home use, it features a 3.8cm diameter solid maple wood bar and offers a good amount of stability for beginner to intermediate level skills and proves to be one of the highest quality at home training bars. This kip bar will grow with your child's gymnastics career. A four year old will enjoy simply playing with and hanging on the standard bar. As he or she gets older, add the optional stabilisers and the bar becomes perfect for learning casting, kipping and basic circling skills. It features ergonomic hand-wheels that allow for quick adjustment from 97cm up to 1.42m to ensure quick and secure placement. Our junior kip bar is the only kip bar on the market with rounded corners which help keep young gymnasts safe and gives them more confidence as they develop their skills. It features a tubular section powder coated steel frame which can be folded away when not in use, with heavy duty anti-slip and non-marking rubber feet provide stability and all the fixings are manufactured from stainless steel.
Junior kip bar stabilisers:
The junior kip bar stabilisers create a more sturdy and steady junior kip bar. They can be purchased at the same time or later when your child has grown and the bar needs the extra support. A four year old will enjoy simply playing with and hanging on the standard bar. As he or she gets older, add the optional stabilisers and the bar becomes perfect for learning casting, kipping and basic circling skills. Junior practice mat:
The junior practice mat provides soft cushioning for falls and landings. This high quality, thick mat can be used by itself for tumbling drills and progressions, or paired with our junior kip bar or the junior bar pro. The junior practice mat features 10cm of soft foam cushioning ideal for falls and landings. The mat is perfect for both gym and home use and can be folded in half for use in practicing multiple skills and drills, and can be attached to other mats with Velcro. When folded, it makes a perfect 90cm wide by 90cm long and 20cm high block. The junior practice mat is 90cm wide and makes a great mat in addition to our 1.2m wide tumbling mats. It features webbed handles for easy transportation and non-skid material sewn to the bottom. Practice mat soft:
The practice mat soft provides soft cushioning for falls and landings. This high quality, 15cm thick mat can be used by itself for tumbling drills and progressions, or paired with our junior bar. The practice mat is 1.2m wide by 1.8m long by 15cm of soft foam cushioning ideal for falls and landings. It features a soft durable nylon cover which is machine washable. Available in either purple or blue colours - please use the drop down menu to select the colour you require.
Tumbling mats:
The tumbling mats are folding panel mats and are perfect for gymnastics, cheer leading, dance, martial arts, special needs, yoga, pilates, exercise and much more. The mats are great for use at home or at the gym. The tumbling mats are among the highest-quality tumbling mats on the market today. Our tumbling gymnastic mats are made with durable 18oz vinyl as well as industry standard cross-linked polyethylene foam. Each mat is easily transported and folds into easy-to-manage sections for storage at home or at the gym. Each mat offers 60cm wide folding panels in a variety of colours with Velcro on two ends to connect mats end-to-end to create longer mats. The tumbling mats are available in two heights of 3.5cm or 5cm. We recommend that the 3.5cm high mat used on a soft surface such as carpet and the 5cm high mat is used on hard surfaces such as wood or concrete. Our tumbling mats are also called panel mats because they fold into 60cm wide panels. The mats are firm to help your kids practice surefooted tumbling.
