A recent supply and installation of a bespoke sized sprung floor for Power House Dance Team in Swinton:

The sprung floor was required to fit within the club's new building, which joined onto their existing building and doubled the overall size. The area we had to work with was 11m wide by 16m long but had several block work stanchions.

We designed the sprung floor to still have the same characteristics as a standard sized floor, using EDPM foam blocks and fast foam, before it was then covered using a black Marley flooring with matching joining tape. We also design the floor to be double layered - a technique that not only increases the strength of the floor, but also improves the consistency and control. It was finished off with a black PVC drop down skirt and then the whole floor was secured in place so it would not slip about on the surface below.

We ensured the floor had the correct expansion gap round the perimeter and was cut out to fit round the block work stanchions. Everything was transported to site, and the installation was complete within one and a half days, ensuring the studio was back up and running as soon as possible.
