Description
These beam landing mats are FIG approved and are ideal for training and competition use. They feature cut-outs for the equipment legs, a non-slip base and a Velcro locking system to ensure the mats stay together. These will fit a wide range of other beams. This is for the full FIG approved landing area (complete area) around the beam, we also offer a landing area only set of mats (immediate area) and these are available here.
The beam landing mats are supplied as 14 units, creating a landing area of 1m wide (minimum) by 4m wide (maximum) by 18m long covering a total area of 50m2. The individual sizes of the mats are; 1 base mat is 2m wide by 3m long by by 20cm high (mat number 4), 6 base mats are 2m wide by 2m long by 20cm high (mat number 8), 1 base mat is 1m wide by 2m long by 20cm high (mat number 14), 2 base mats are 2m wide by 2.5m long by 20cm high (mat number 15), these have a cut out to accept the leg, 2 base mats are 1m wide by 2m long by 20cm high (mat number 16), 2 base mats are 1m wide by 2m long by 20cm high (mat number 17). Each mat has Velcro over-locking flaps to ensure the mats are locked together as well as a non-slip base to ensure they do not slide when in use and remain in position. The internal foam consists of multi-layered polyurethane and polyethylene foam that creates a soft, safe landing area. The foam is covered with a hard-wearing PVC vinyl which features air distribution mesh windows and is strengthened along the sides and corners.
A FIG approved soft topper landing mat is also available, the soft topper mats is 2m wide by 4m long by 10cm high. Placed on top of other landing mats they will offer the gymnast a softer reassured landing. The internal foam consists of soft sponge type polymeric foam that creates a soft, safe landing area. The foam is covered with a hard-wearing yet soft jersey type fabric top cover with hard-wearing PVC vinyl which features air distribution mesh windows and is strengthened along the sides and corners.
The landing mats are available with or without the soft topper landing mat and both are available in a wide range of colours - please select the colour you require.
