The air floor pro has a wide range of uses and possibilities and is ideal for gymnastics and cheerleading clubs, dance halls, schools, leisure centres, martial arts clubs etc. The design and construction of the air floors is what make the product so unique. Used from beginner to elite levels, it allows athletes to learn and perfect new skills and progressions. The air floor pro is a product that allows athletes to train harder, while still minimising the risk of injury.
A thicker version of our standard air floor, the pro version is a great option as an all around training aid or as a substitute for a rod floor. The air floor pro is a bouncier version of the current air floor and is not required to be placed on a padded surface. The air floor pro offers versatility in a gym, or as a portable station for mobile programmes or exhibitions. The mini ramp works well for entry up onto the 20cm surface. Booster blocks can be used for spotting off to the side. Unlike the 8cm thick standard air floors, the air floor pro's can be used directly on a hard floor without the need for additional padding underneath (additional padding around the unit might be needed). All air floor pro's have a Velcro extension flap, sewn into the unit, which can connect two or more units end-to-end to create longer tumbling strips, this can be folded and secured when not in use.
The air floor pro has a centre line which can be used as a visual aid for tumbling. The 3m version include d-rings to easily attach the unit between uneven bars, along with a numbered centre line. The air floor pro offers portability and smaller storage requirements. They are sold with the Velcro extension flap allowing for the connecting of several units to make larger floor areas this can be folded and secured out of the way when not in use. Each unit has a dual action hand pump (included in price) and takes about 5-10 minutes to inflate the 3m, 10-20 minutes to inflate the 6m. An electric air pump is recommended for faster inflation and can be purchased separately here.
